HAMMOND - After becoming one of eight NCAA golfers to shoot a 60 in a round, Southeastern Louisiana's Matthew Carvell is featured on Lange Ringler's "Off-Campus" segment on GolfWeekTV.com.

Carvell opened the 2008-09 season with a 12-under-par 60 at the Aldila/Scenic City Invitational on Sept. 8 and claimed medalist honors in the tournament. The senior from Johannesburg, South Africa is one of two players to shoot 60 this season - the lowest round recorded by an NCAA golfer. 

Defending NAIA champion Sam Cyr of Point Loma Nazarene recorded a 60 in the first round of the Grand Canyon University Fall Invitational at Golf Club of Estrella in Phoenix.
