NACOGDOCHES, Texas –
Southeastern Louisiana senior Jessica Srajer posted a match-high 11 kills, but the Lady Lions hit just .067 in a 25-18, 25-14, 25-18 Southland Conference loss at Stephen F. Austin Thursday night in Johnson Coliseum.

Southeastern fell to 8-18 overall and 4-11 in Southland Conference play. Stephen F. Austin hit .317 and improved to 21-12 overall and 10-5 in league action.

Srajer and junior Allison Jones (eight kills) were the top performers for the Lady Lions offensively. Sophomore setter Arianne Cruckshank led Southeastern with 18 assists, while senior Katie Collins chipped in nine assists.

Defensively, seniors Lauren Mayer and Margaret Pittman led the way with nine digs apiece.

Stephen F. Austin featured a balanced attack offensively. Mary Caitlin Bottles led the way with 10 kills, while Kelsey Owens and Arielle Daron contributed nine and eight winners, respectively. Paloma Buckner led the way with 39 assists for SFA.

Madison Hanlan led the Ladyjacks with 17 digs, while Bottles paced the squad with four blocks.

Southeastern will close out the regular season on Saturday, facing McNeese State at 2 p.m. in Lake Charles.
