COVINGTON – The Southeastern Louisiana women's tennis team battled hard, but were ultimately outmanned by nationally-ranked Purdue in non-conference action Friday afternoon at the Stone Creek Club and Spa.

The Lady Lions fell to 5-8 overall with the loss. Purdue, ranked 35th in the most recent national polls, improved to 13-1 this spring by sweeping both singles and doubles play.
