HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University football team is looking to find the “Hero in You” when it will hold its third annual SLU Football Blood Drive on Thursday (May 3) from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The event, which is being run by United Blood Services of Baton Rouge, will take place in the UBS Blood Mobile located next to Strawberry Stadium.
The public is invited to join over 80 student-athletes and members of the Southeastern administration who are scheduled to participate in the annual event announced by head coach
Ron Roberts.
All donors are required to bring a photo ID and donor card, and will also receive a special gift while supplies last. All donors will also receive free cholesterol testing during the drive.
