HAMMOND – The Lion Athletics Association (LAA) will host a tailgate from 2:30-5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Southeastern Louisiana football team's 6 p.m. game at Southland Conference rival Northwestern State in Natchitoches.
 
Free food and beverages will be provided including Natchitoches meat pies, pizza, chicken, and sandwiches at the tailgate, which will be held next to the Prather Coliseum parking lot. Parking is free in the lot for all vehicles, including RVs. Patrons must be 21 to drink alcohol at this event. A parking map will be available at www.nsula.edu or www.LionSports.net.

Southeastern (4-2, 1-0 Southland) will be looking for its second straight 2-0 start to league play when it visits the host Demons (3-3, 0-1 Southland).
