HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball program, in conjunction with the Southeastern Alumni Association, will host its annual reunion the weekend of the Lamar series.

Former Lion players will be recognized on the field prior to the Saturday, April 6, game against Lamar, with special recognition given to the father-son and brother combinations that have been a part of Lion baseball history.

The main festivities begin with a picnic lunch in the parking garage adjoining Strawberry Stadium at 11:30 a.m. At 1 p.m. there will be a short program before adjourning to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field for the pregame ceremonies. First pitch against Lamar is scheduled for 2 p.m.

For those coming in early, golf tee times have been reserved for Friday, April 5, at Carter Plantation. A $49 green fee, paid at the course pro shop that day, will also cover the cart and driving range. An RSVP for the golf outing is needed.

All baseball alumni are welcome to attend the lunch and game without advance notice, but to help with planning please RSVP to Larry Hymel at (985) 549-3228 or lhymel@southeastern.edu.
