Natchitoches, Louisiana – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's cross country teams placed 9th, while the men's teams placed 11th in the 2014 Southland Conference Cross Country Championships on Monday.

The 11th through 15th finishers earned honorable mention all-conference honors.

"Celia did great," said head coach Sean Brady. "For her to come out and do what she did as a freshman is incredible. She is the top distance runner from Louisiana that is competing in our conference."
