HAMMOND – Due to expected rain in the Hammond area, Southeastern Louisiana Football Pro Day has been moved to Thursday at 8 a.m. at the New Orleans Saints Indoor Training Facility in Metairie.
 
Among those participating in the showcase for the Lions is quarterback Bryan Bennett. The two-time first team All-Southland Conference selection represented the university in the Senior Bowl. The only other Lion to participate in the Senior Bowl since the program returned in 2003 was Robert Alford, a second round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons, who for he now starts at cornerback.
 
Bennett will be joined at SLU Football Pro Day by kicker Ryan Adams, linebacker Drew Misita, defensive lineman Marquel Combs, linebacker Isiah Corbett, wide receiver Marquis Hayes, wide receiver Chris Malott, linebacker Kaleb Muse, wide receiver Devante Scott and offensive lineman D.J. Williams.
