Southeastern Adds Four FBS Transfers for 2016

Durall, Mosley, Seabrook and Teuhema are newest Lions

HAMMOND, La. – Four former Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) student-athletes will continue their academic and athletic endeavors as members of the Southeastern Louisiana football program, Lion head coach Ron Roberts announced on Friday.

The newest Lions are running back Darius Durall (Houston, Texas), defensive back Torrance Mosley (Geismar, Louisiana), wide receiver Monte Seabrook (Newberry, Florida) and linebacker Sione Teuhema (Keller, Texas). All four are currently enrolled at Southeastern and will be playing in the 2016 season.

"We're excited to add these four student-athletes to our program," Roberts said. "We expect all four to have an immediate impact and compete for starting jobs right away."

Durall spent the past two seasons at SMU, playing in nine games. During his time with the Mustangs, he rushed four times for 24 yards, caught three passes for 14 yards and returned four kickoffs for 63 yards. He prepped at South Houston High School, where he was an All-District performer after rushing for 814 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Mosley returns to his home state after playing two seasons at TCU. He started three games as a sophomore, finishing with 21 tackles (15 solo) and three pass breakups. As a freshman, he played in five games, mostly on special teams. Mosley played running back and defensive back at Dutchtown High School, rushing for 912 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior on the way to all-district honors.

Seabrook comes to Hammond after spending two years at Utah. He played in eight games as a special teams contributor as a true freshman, making three tackles on kickoff coverage. Seabrook was an All-State defensive back as a senior at Newberry High School. He also played running back and wide receiver during his prep career, accumulating 2,248 total yards.

Teuhema joins the Lion linebacker corps after playing 16 games in two seasons at LSU. He played in seven games as a sophomore with 13 tackles (seven solo) and two tackles for loss. As a freshman, Teuhema's standout performance saw him record two sacks versus Sam Houston State. He was a three-star recruit out of Keller High School. Teuhema recorded 96 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as a senior and participated in the U.S. Army All-American Game.

The four newest Lions will make their Southeastern debuts when the Lions open the 2016 season on Sept. 3 at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
