HAMMOND, La. – The 2018 edition of Super Lion Saturday, the annual celebration of all things Southeastern Athletics, is set for Saturday, April 21 on the SLU campus.
The day's festivities open at North Oak Park. The Lady Lion softball team will host Southland Conference foe Central Arkansas at noon in the final league home game of the season for SLU.
The Southeastern football team will also close out its first spring under new head coach
Frank Scelfo with the annual Spring Game. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium.
S Club members will be invited to the Victory Club for food and refreshments during the Spring Game. The reception will be open to S Club members, who will be limited to one guest. For more information on becoming a S Club member, contact SLU Director of Athletic Advancement

Super Lion Saturday will also double as Alumni Day for the Southeastern baseball program. The baseball alumni reunion is scheduled for 4 p.m. on the first floor of the Strawberry Stadium parking garage. Food, drinks and an opportunity to sign up for the S Club will be available at the reunion.
The day's on-field action wraps up at 6 p.m. when the Lions face Southland rival Nicholls at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Baseball alumni in attendance will be recognized in conjunction with the SLU-Colonels matchup.
