2007: Stepped up as the most experienced member of the Southeastern backfield and was one of four Lady Lions to start all 20 matches…Helped the Lady Lions give up the fewest goals in the Southland Conference for the second straight year…Earned second team All-Southland Conference honors…Assisted Natalie Santana’s game-winning goal in Southeastern’s 1-0 win over SLC regular season champion McNeese State.

2006: Key part of Southeastern defense, starting 16 of the team’s 19 matches…Part of a Lady Lion backfield that allowed only 13 goals on the season and posted a school and Southland Conference record 13 shutouts…Attempted 10 shots on the season.

2005: Stalwart on the Southeastern defense, starting all but one match of the season…Helped Lady Lions hold opponents to 1.6 goals per match…Credited with an assist in 9-0 rout of Alcorn State.

High School: Three-sport athlete at Oakville Trafalgor High School, where she starred in soccer, volleyball and basketball…Also served as a midfielder on the MCM Club team…Was named Athlete of the Year as a junior and MVP of the volleyball team…Captained all three teams as a senior.

Personal: Born Sarah Michelle Cheung in Burlington, Ontario, Canada…the oldest daughter of Sam and Debbie Cheung…Likes playing hockey in her spare time…Has a younger brother, Chris…majoring in kinesiology.
