2009 Outdoor (Junior):  Recorded the third-best hammer throw mark in school history with a toss of 181 ft.  (55.16 m) at the LSU Relays, which was a personal record and just shy of an NCAA Qualifying mark ... Had an eighth place hammer throw of 182 ft. 6 in. in the LSU Alumni Gold meet ... Salvaged the hammer throw event for the Lions at the Southland outdoor championships with a seventh-place heave of 172-4 (52.53 m) to get the Lions on the board with their first two points of the meet. 

2009 Indoor (Junior): At the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational, led the way for Southeastern in weight throw after transferring from Kingsbourough Community College (56 ft. 11.5 in./17.36 m) ... Led another assault on the Southeastern record books by setting a new school record with a throw of 62 ft. 8.75 in. (19.12 m) in the weight throw, finishing second in that event at day one of the Houston Indoor Invitational ... Picked up five crucial points to the Southeastern total in the Southland indoor championships with a fourth-place toss of 59 ft. 7.75 in. (18.18 m) ... Credited with a throw of 18.64 m at LSU's NCAA qualifying meet, finishing in fourth place and just short of the NCAA provisional distance.
