2009 Outdoor (Junior): Claimed first at McNeese Cowboy Relays in the weight throw with a throw of 196 ft. 11 in. (60.03 m), bettering the previous school record (Dwight Womack's 173 foot toss in 2007) by nearly 17 feet. Became the fifth Southeastern thrower to throw the discus more than 50 meters with his meet-winning heave of 50.63 meters. Also claimed third in the javelin on way to claiming SLC athlete of the week award.
2009 Indoor (Sophomore): At Southland indoor championships, picked a perfect time to set a new school record in the weight throw with a 65 ft. 2.25 in. (19.87 m), good for first place. Claimed third place All-SLC honors in the shot put with a throw of 55 ft. 2.75 in. ... Named SLC’s Outstanding Field Athlete and Newcomer of the Year.

International Competition: Competed for his native St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 2003 IAAF World Junior Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia where he finished 14th in the shot put with a throw of 14.76 m ... Set national records for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the 2004 Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships where he claimed silver in the shot (16.55 m) and bronze in the discus (45.10).
