HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team faces a rematch against No. 7-ranked LSU, this time at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Southeastern (17-7) won its opening series of Southland Conference play this past weekend at Northwestern State but had its eight-game winning streak snapped Sunday. The Tigers (19-6) dropped two of three games over the weekend to No. 8-ranked Florida.
 
The game will be carried on the SEC Network+. Fans can listen to the game broadcast in the Hammond area on 90.9 The Lion. In addition, an audio stream is available online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via the Lions Gameday Experience, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio apps. Both the TuneIn and MyTuner apps are compatible with the Apple CarPlay software available in most late-model automobiles. Search for KSLU 90.9 FM in the TuneIn app.
 
Shea Thomas (.379), TJ Salvaggio (.338) and Justin Williams (.333) are the Lions' leading hitters. Thomas' five home runs and 22 RBIs are also the best on the squad. Ryan Brome leads the tea with five stolen bases.
 
Earlier this month, then No. 2-ranked LSU rallied for three runs in the ninth to pull off a 4-3 comeback victory over the Lions in Hammond.
 
Hayden Travinski (.333), Tommy White (.316) and Steven Milam (.295) are the Tigers' leading hitters. Jared Jones' 10 home runs power the LSU offense while Travinski has driven in a team-best 25 runs. Paxton Kling leads the squad with six stolen bases.
 
UP NEXT
Southeastern returns to conference play this coming weekend, hosting Houston Christian in a three-game series. Games are slated for 6 p.m. Thursday, 6 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Thursday's game is the Lions' Southland home opener while Saturday is another chance to play baseball bingo at the ballpark.

Single-game tickets are now on sale. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to minimize ticket lines on game days. Southeastern students are encouraged to contact the ticket office before the game to reserve theirs in advance.
 
General admission tickets for most games are $11 for adults and $8 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted for free. Gameday parking is $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 for RVs.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. The ticket booth at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field opens exactly one hour before the scheduled first pitch.

Southeastern uses mobile ticketing as the primary method for distributing tickets purchased online. Tickets will be available via text message or email in a PDF format for fans to download on their phone or print at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to Apple Wallet.
